Pretty much all the Boogie amps that you'll have heard will be using 6L6 tubes in the power section. The "American" big bottom & glassy highs are characteristic of these tubes. The most common other type of power tube is the EL34 - as used by almost all Marshall amps - and this gives that more punchy "British" tone that we all love. The Boogie Stiletto see's a departure from the 6L6 tubes in favour of the EL34's. Are Boogie trying to out Marshall a Marshall? The Stiletto heads certainly sound impressive - and look fantastic too!

Incorporating Marshall's very own patent-pending Stompware technology, developed from the award-winning JVM series, the MG Footcontroller makes using the MG 'FX' amplifiers simplicity itself. The MG footcontroller is totally programmable, with each of the four footswitches assignable to any front panel switch, preset channel and/or built-in Tuner. A simple LED panel lets you know exactly what features and channels are engaged, while the digital display indicates the current selected footswitch. When using the Tuner funtion the digital display shows the closest current note being played, as the LED panel is used to fine tune that note perfectly.
